In 2021, The Forum built a new memory care center. Understanding the challenges of an industry-wide staffing shortage, The Forum wanted to proactively address this in a manner that would enhance the quality of life for our residents while increasing job satisfaction for team members, thus reducing turnover. As a result, The Forum invested in leading-edge technology, collaborating with Alexa Smart Properties to add Alexa-enabled devices equipped to promote fast communication, resident independence, and team member efficiency.

To reduce emissions, it is transitioning to an allelectric fleet of vehicles and adding EV charging stations in the parking lot to encourage electric vehicle use.

The restaurant-style cuisine aligns with its eco-friendly commitment. It features waste-minimizing menus, local produce, and health-conscious mouthwatering dishes. All takeout orders are served in biodegradable containers. Domestic water use was reduced by 57 percent through low flow plumbing and awareness drives. The landscaping’s bioswales, drip irrigation, and native plants have cut water consumption by 40 percent.

These eco-friendly initiatives have established The Forum as a leader in green living.

The Forum emphasizes a balanced approach to wellness across eight dimensions, including physical health, spirituality, relationships and mental stimulation. This perfectly reflects in the curricular activities provided by the community.
